Contentgine is a data and lead generation start-up emerging from a stealth mode operating status in 2021. We’re looking for a HUNGRY and creative thinker who can help us appear and drive sales to take us to the next level.

Who you are:

  • You are someone who can check their ego at the door. You’ll be joining a team where everyone was a top rep at some point in time.
  • Contentgine is not an enterprise organization where you’ll have a support team as a cushion. So you must be comfortable doing work outside of sales.
  • You must have a strong voice. This is a start-up, and we all have our multiple hats on, so you don’t be afraid to voice your opinion for what you need to get things done. We empower our employees to do what they think is best to get the job done.
  • At least two years of outbound sales or business development work and 2-4 years of quota carrying experience
  • Creative thinker that’s willing to test to find the best way to produce results
  • Domain knowledge of various B2B marketing channels with a focus on Demand Generation

What you’ll be doing:

  • Selling to marketers at software and tech companies tasked with driving growth in their business
  • Handling all aspects of the sales cycle: from research stages to prospecting to account management and renewals
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline for weekly forecasting
  • Bringing new ideas to the co-founding team on ways to grow the business

B2B industry leaders founded Contentgine to create the best leads in the space by capturing prospects and accounts that demonstrate strong buying signals. With 85 years of collective experience, we’ve been part of the evolution of the B2B leads industry from the early 2000s to the present. There are many new service providers and data players in today’s market, but we feel basic concepts that lead to successful sales and marketing lead outcomes are still missing. We set out to produce a better way to generate leads, utilizing our first-party data and content expertise to help companies build pipelines and lower their cost per opportunity on campaigns ran through us. We start with the essential component: engagements.

Job Description

  • We’re looking for a jack of all marketing trades and hopefully a master of a few to help guide, implement and execute growth plans to help hit the company’s aggressive revenue goals.

Who you are

  • You’re someone who has a passion for demand generation. If that’s not you, stop reading.
  • You have the mindset: “I can do this.”
  • You are focused on Revenue Generation Marketing.
  • You’ve successfully sold through, implemented, and launched end-to-end marketing ideas, campaigns, and plans with previous teams before.
  • You’re willing to get your hands dirty and build from the ground up.
  • Ideally, you have domain expertise and were or are someone that would buy our products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble the foundations of our marketing stack
  • Establish and own scalable campaign and lead management programs
  • Launch targeted client acquisition and engagement strategy, including content marketing
  • Define key growth performance metrics; build and manage reporting across channels
  • Use data to make recommendations on how we can drive more conversions, revenue, and efficiency within each channel
  • Website upkeep and improvement
  • Generating inbound leads/traffic
  • Ongoing sales enablement including but not limited to:
    • ABM outreach
    • Email campaign management
    • Custom Pitch Decks
    • Slicks
  • Automating marketing processes (picking tools like Hubspot, Marketo, et al. and deploying nurturing strategy)
  • Weekly blogs/content
  • Videos
  • Social Media Promotion and Management

  • Facebook/Instagram

Requirements

  • 5+ years of marketing experience in digital marketing and growth-oriented roles (start-up experience is nice to have but not a must).
  • Experience with vetting martech and demand generation vendors as well as running 3rd party or outbound marketing campaigns with these vendors
  • Able to seamlessly switch from tactical to strategic, driving action and improvement by using data to build scalable solutions
  • Not afraid to get on sales calls and get closer to prospects/customers
